Have you noticed? Green is the new purple, so they say…. or maybe they don’t. Anyway, we’ve gone green!
This month, we have decided to go green, to highlight being presented with London Stock Exchange’s Green Economy Mark. But, ‘What does that mean?’, we hear you ask.
The Green Economy Mark recognises London-listed equity issuers, who make over 50% of their total revenue from environmentally positive goods, products and services. Basically, this means, we’re pretty green.
Our CEO Simon Cleaver said “We’re ecstatic to be given the Green Economy Mark. The Mark not only shows how hard we have worked behind-the-scenes, constantly taking actions to be green, but also highlights the importance of supporting environmental causes.
“We aim to reduce our carbon footprint as a company as much as possible over the coming months and years. I can’t wait to see the progress CloudCall will have made in just a couple of years’ time.”
Companies considering the size of their carbon footprint is becoming increasingly important to investors. London Stock Exchange created the Mark to help investors identify an investible universe of ‘green economy’ equities and which companies have made significant adjustments to become green.
Over the next few weeks, we will be explaining a little bit more about the Green Economy Mark, what it means for us to receive it and also, how you yourself can go green.
