The importance of going green - CloudCall

The importance of going green

You’ve probably noticed by now that we’ve gone green. We changed our logos to reflect being given a Green Economy Mark by London Stock Exchange.

It’s pretty important for us to be green. Let us tell you why.

Saving the planet

Obviously sat at the top, number one, head of the table as to why it’s important to be green; is saving the planet. We were given the Green Economy Mark because over 50% of our revenue is from environmental solutions.

Reducing our waste, reusing where we can and recycling all over our offices helps us to shrink our carbon footprint.

A strange year

With so many of us being at home for most of 2020, it has made it a lot easier for people to go green. Less commuting, food wrappers, coffee cups, printing, electricity for offices and so on all help our goal of reducing.

Instead, we have been walking the commute (from our beds to our desks). We have been reusing our cups and bottles. We have even reduced the packaging, where we can, so that together we make a bigger difference.

Green investment

It’s important to be green for our employees, partners and investors too.

We want our employees to be proud of where they work and be proud that we have a Green Economy Mark, to show we mean business.

Being green is important for our partners and investors too, having a mark raises our profile and opens us up to more people interested in greener companies.

Throughout the next year, we plan to be even greener. So, stay tuned to see what the future holds for a greener CloudCall.
