Pride @ CloudCall Terms of Reference

The Purpose of Pride @ CloudCall

The Pride @ CloudCall network exists to empower LGBTQIA+ staff to achieve their full potential through creating a positive and supportive working environment.

Aims and Objectives

Our aims include raising the awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues; raising the profile of LGBTQIA+ staff at CloudCall; ensuring there are visible LGBTQIA+ role models at different levels of the organisation; providing all employees with resources necessary to create an inclusive workplace.

As well as the above, the Pride @ CloudCall network will provide a forum to:

  • Support Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBTQIA+) staff.
  • Enable LGBTQIA+ staff to feel that they have a vital role to play at CloudCall.
  • Discuss issues affecting LGBTQIA+ staff with key decision makers.
  • Assist in formulating new and reviewing existing policies and procedures.
  • Provide an arena for staff to raise their concerns, in a safe and confidential environment.
  • Provide support to enable employees to report homophonic, biphobic, and transphobic bullying and harassment.
  • Engage with and support marginalized and underrepresented LGBTQIA+ groups.
  • Engage with other LGBTQIA+ and Equality networks both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

The role of the Pride @ CloudCall Network will be primarily to provide a safe and supportive working environment to both members, and anyone else requiring LGBTQIA+ related support, by sharing experiences and best practise. We will do this through holding regular meetings, attending events, create educational hub posts, and communicating with members and CloudCall staff on LGBTQIA+ issues.

The Pride @ CloudCall network will play a key role in influencing the way the organisation delivers its strategic plans and will contribute to the development of an open, inclusive and supportive working culture.

We will actively shape a positive culture through the network’s strategy and will continue to look for opportunities to learn from other LGBTQIA+ networks.
